Which Forklift Tyre Do You Need?

Solid resilient tyres fit the same rims as pneumatic tyres but cannot puncture, which suits yards with debris, glass or metal. Press-on band tyres are pressed onto a steel band and suit smooth warehouse floors and compact trucks. Pneumatic tyres are air filled and give a softer ride on rough ground, for rough terrain and outdoor forklifts. Non-marking tyres are available for food, pharmaceutical and retail floors.

When to Replace Forklift Tyres

Solid tyres worn down to the wear line on the sidewall
Chunks missing, cracking or separation from the band
Flat spots causing vibration or an uneven lift
Pneumatic tyres with low tread, cuts or slow punctures

The size is moulded on the tyre sidewall, for example 6.50-10 or 18x7-8. Send us a photo if you cannot read it.

Yes. Tyres on the same axle should be replaced together so the forklift sits level and lifts safely.
