Can My Puncture Be Repaired?
Not all punctures can be repaired. Our fitters will assess your tyre on arrival. Generally a repair is possible when:
- The puncture is in the central three-quarters of the tread
- The hole is 6mm or less in diameter
- The tyre has not been driven flat for any distance
- There is no sidewall or shoulder damage
- The tyre has adequate tread remaining (above 1.6mm legal limit)

Tyre Repair Manchester
A proper puncture repair means taking the tyre off the wheel, checking the inside for damage caused by driving on it soft, and sealing the hole from the inside with a combined plug and patch. A temporary sealant or an external string plug is not a permanent repair. We repair tyres the correct way so they are safe for continued use.
Roadside Flat Tyre?
If you have a flat tyre at the roadside, move somewhere safe, switch on your hazard lights and call 07912 478216. Do not keep driving on a flat tyre, as it can damage the sidewall and the wheel and turn a repairable puncture into a new tyre.

We also repair van, truck, HGV, plant and agricultural tyres where the damage allows. Larger tyres have different repair limits, and our fitters will check the tyre and tell you whether it can be repaired.

No. Car tyres can usually be repaired if the hole is 6mm or less and in the central three quarters of the tread, with no sidewall damage and the tyre has not been driven flat.
Can run-flat tyres be repaired?
Most run-flat tyres cannot be repaired once they have been driven while deflated. Our fitters will check and advise.
