Welcome to the new Nortons Tyres website. For years our quotes and appointments sat on a separate site, our news lived on a separate blog, and the main website did its best to hold everything else together. We have now brought it all into one place, so whether you need a tyre at the roadside tonight or want to book the car in for next Tuesday, you will find it here.
What has changed
- Quotes are now on the main site. Use our quote page for cars, vans, trucks, plant, forklifts and agricultural vehicles. Tell us the tyre size, the vehicle and where it is, and we will come back to you.
- Bay appointments are now on the main site. If you would rather bring the vehicle to us at 1 Norton Street, Miles Platting, book an appointment online.
- Our old blog has moved here. The blog subdomain has been closed and everything new will be published in this news section, with tyre safety advice, changes in the law and updates for fleet customers.
- The 24 hour call out details are at the top of every page. When you have a flat tyre, the last thing you want to do is hunt for a phone number.
Our 24 hour call out
Our mobile units operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, replacing and repairing tyres at the roadside and on site for cars, wagons, commercial vans and both large and small plant, throughout Manchester, the North West and, for account holders, the rest of the UK.
Call 07912 478216 or 0161 205 1362. Out of hours we provide a service from 5pm across Greater Manchester. The out of hours cost is £120 plus the price of the tyre if one is needed, and all prices are subject to VAT. Account holding customers get the full 24 hour call out service across the whole of the UK.
When you ring out of hours, please have your correct tyre size and your full location to hand. The tyre size is on the sidewall of the tyre as a set of three numbers, for example 225/40/R18. If you are not sure, our guide to finding your tyre size shows you where to look.

Commercial, plant and fleet customers
A large part of our work is commercial: HGVs, tippers, vans, loading shovels, dumpers, telehandlers, forklifts and tractors.
